This week we’ll consider a few “[concept] as method” formulations for which the subject matter, site, purpose, ethos, or some other factor necessitates a novel constellation of methods or the invention of new methods.
IN-CLASS WORKSHOP, 5:00-6:30pm: We’ll meet with Ian Petrie at Penn’s Center for Excellence in Teaching, Learning and Innovation, in Van Pelt Library, to discuss syllabus design, which can itself constitute a bespoke method, a means of epistemic world-building.
