As you prepare your project proposals for submission next week, we\u2019ll use this week\u2019s class to further encourage you to think creatively<\/em> and capaciously <\/em>about theory and method \u2014 and about how to design<\/em> complementary assemblages of theories and methods \u2014 by exploring the model of the toolkit<\/em>. We\u2019ll then get extra-\u201cmeta\u201d by experimenting with theoretically-informed methods for designing, or prototyping, creative methods. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

WORKSHOP, 4:30-5:45pm: <\/mark><\/strong>Katie Giritlian from paper camera press<\/a> has invited us to test their new Paper Camera Study Pack<\/a>. Katie will join us at 4:30 to introduce the project, we\u2019ll break into small groups to engage with the kit, and then Katie will re-join us near the end of our session to solicit our feedback on the study pack, which she\u2019ll then use to iterate its next version, and to discuss her goals for the project and the broader mission of paper camera press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
